Major Function: Works in collaboration with Co-Located Youth Services Manager to maintain the Child Welfare Advocate program functions and responsibilities, and to provide Child Welfare program participants with quality services to include advocacy, support groups, safety planning, and resources. Act as a domestic violence collaborator providing support to Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) Child Protection Investigation Division (CPID) and other related entities to increase the safety of child and adult victims of domestic violence and to reduce the number of out-of-home child placements due to domestic violence.
