Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month

Sue Burke, an artist, gardener, and avid supporter of organizations that represent hope, love, and encouragement reached out to CASA with the hopes of supplying our Shelter with her beautiful handmade cards. She says “creating cards is a hobby and a therapy to me, and being able to create something and reach out via a “paper hug” means so much.” Thanks to Sue, the participants at our Shelter are able to get a “paper hug” when they need it most. When Sue is not out helping the community by spreading love through her art, she is usually in her garden, appreciating the urban wildlife and looking for new butterfly species!
