Her husband’s abusive behavior escalated during her pregnancy. She felt she had nowhere to go and no one to turn to. She made the brave step of reaching out to a CASA Advocate and was able to safely escape.

“CASA was there for me every step of the way. They showed genuine concern about my pregnancy. They took me to the hospital and did whatever they needed to do to make it easier on me. I wish to thank all the advocates for their incredible support not only for me, but for my daughter and my newborn. They all were so encouraging and inspiring. I have been able to move into a single family home because of their financial assistance. I am forever grateful!”
