Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Kacie
News Volunteer Spotlights

PLEASE TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF.

My name is Kacie Gibb and I graduate from USF in May with my bachelors in criminology. I’m from Englewood, Florida but I moved to St. Pete 4 years ago for school.

WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO VOLUNTEER AT CASA? WHAT DO YOU LOVE THE MOST ABOUT INTERNING?

I chose to pursue an internship with CASA because it is a great organization that helps support survivors of domestic violence in more ways than I thought possible! With my degree, I aspire to be a victim advocate, and I’m so grateful that I am able to gain experience and knowledge here at CASA.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE EXPERIENCE OR MEMORY VOLUNTEERING AT CASA?

It has been amazing to meet all of the CASA team members and see how they support each other and their participants. It has been truly rewarding so far and I’m so excited to see where this experience takes me!

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING? email acastaneda@casa-stpete.org.
